Human Resources Business Partner - Talent (FTC)

Role summary:
This 12-month maternity cover contract for a HR Business Partner – Talent (HRBP) is to cover the maternity leave of the Senior HR Business Partner – Talent (SHRBP). In the SHRBP’s absence, the HRBP will have a primary focus on implementing and rolling out the Oracle Talent Platform and the Applicant Tracking System across the branch.
Additionally, the role includes maintaining the line management of the Talent Acquisition team to ensure continuity in talent operations. Alongside these key responsibilities, the HRBP will support other critical areas, as further outlined in this cover plan.
Skills/Responsibilities:
* Continue with Oracle Talent roll out specifically ongoing training sessions per training plan as set out by Senior HR Business Partner. This will include new training (in conjunction with L&D Business Partner), refreshers of training, pushing notifications and monitoring and reporting on progress at mid-year (Sept/ Oct) and end of year (Feb/Mar) review.
* In collaboration with Reward and Analytics Team Leader support key areas of the business with Talent integration related to Quarterly Review/ bonus specifically.
* Review and analyse results and share critical insights with Head of People.
* Continue to oversee the talent acquisition team, ensuring continuity and effectiveness in recruitment processes. Support with their approach to partnering with new areas of the business as well as relationships with HRBP team.
* Champion the development of a diverse and inclusive candidate journey, ensuring robust reporting on EDI (Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion) efforts is developed, shared, and acted upon in collaboration with the Head of People.
* Support the implementation and rollout of the ATS (Applicant Tracking System) across the branch.
* Pay close attention to and ensure the success of the approvals process for staff requisition flow within the ATS which vary in complexity.
* Oversee the renegotiation of terms of business with key agencies and support their onboarding to the ATS.
* Lead renewal of LinkedIn Contract and manage ATS renewal.
* Administer Talent Management processes via Oracle Talent which will newly be implemented within the business. Ensure all outputs, development notes and next steps are captured and distributed accordingly following meetings.
* In collaboration with Head of People and L&D Business Partner, review learning interventions/ career development for those identified as high performing/ high potential talent, plan next steps and action outputs accordingly.
* In partnership with Reward and Analytics Team leader, continue to establish and develop reports for EDI related to succession management within new Oracle talent module. Share insights in agreed format/ timeframes with Head of People for EDI project work being undertaken.
* Work with the LES business (and other Divisions as required) to plan for graduate intake support in executing graduate assessment centers if required.
* Liaise with relevant stakeholders to develop detailed programmes (per previous cohorts) for graduate cohort set to join in September 2026, ensuring alignment with business needs and organisational development goals.
* Ensure bonus transfer and relevant pay reviews take place for existing graduate cohorts (2023- 2025 & 2024- 2026) and manage career conversations with graduates and line managers for those nearing the end of their programmes.
Experience:
* CIPD Level 7 with experience in HR Business Partnering/Talent roles, with a focus on strategic HR initiatives and talent management.
* Proven experience in managing HR projects, including training programs and system implementations.
* Experience in leading change management efforts, particularly in transitioning teams and integrating new systems.
* Strong background in overseeing talent acquisition processes and managing recruitment teams.
* Experience in developing and implementing EDI (Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion) initiatives and reporting.
* Vast experience in managing Employee Relations issues (as adhoc support for the wider team).
* Strong analytical skills to review and interpret data, generate insights, and report findings.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders and lead HR initiatives.
* Demonstrated leadership abilities to guide and support HR teams through transitions and strategic changes.
