Unique School Solutions are looking to recruit SEN Teachers to help support SEN schools throughout South Yorkshire.
We are working with a number of schools who need support for students with a range of needs including Autism (ASD), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH), Behavioural, Emotional and Social Difficulties (BESD) and Complex Needs.
All jobs are long-term with the potential to become permanent, and you will be paid to scale up to a maximum of M6. You will be expected to fulfill the full duties of a teacher including planning and marking, attending parents evenings and in-school meetings (whether during the day or after school), and liaising with other staff, Senior Leadership and possibly parents/carers and outside agencies.
In order to apply:
* You must be a qualified teacher with a PGCE and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Have actively taught for at least 3 months within the last 2 years, preferably in a SEN school/Alternative Provision or within an SEN/Inclusion unit of a mainstream school
* Be up to date with National Curriculum and current SEN policies, allowing you to plan, deliver and assess current schemes of work in line with the school you work in
* Be proactive, organised and have good time management skills
* Have strong behaviour management skills
* Additional training such as Team Teach would be beneficial but not essential
* Hold a valid, enhanced DBS or be willing to apply for a new one
