Job Description:
Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Product Manager to join our team for the launch of our new sleep brand. You will work in collaboration with the founders to spearhead the launch of our new portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a passion for product development, a keen eye for market trends, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. This role provides the ideal opportunity for someone with experience in product management to take their career to the next level working with experienced business owners on the ground floor of their latest venture. The successful candidate will be expected to attend on-site at our Leeds-based office.
Key Responsibilities:
* Play a key role in the development and execution of product strategies for the new sleep brand.
* Conduct research to identify customer needs, preferences, and trends.
* Collaborate with design and marketing teams to ensure product alignment with brand vision.
* Manage product lifecycle from concept to launch, including planning, development, and post-launch analysis.
* Work independently on product management responsibilities, reporting directly to the founders.
* Monitor and analyse product performance metrics to inform future product improvements.
* Support the creation of product documentation, including specifications, user guides, and marketing materials.
* Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely delivery and quality control.
* Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas for product enhancements.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
* 1-2 years of experience in product management, preferably in consumer goods or a related industry.
* Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in project management tools and software.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Able to regularly commute to our Leeds-based office.
* Passion for sleep health and wellness is a plus.
