We're here to help Purpose: The Supervisor will be responsible for supervising all PRM staff on shift, working with the Control Team and ensuring compliant use of systems to assist passengers. A direct oversight of the PRM ramp operation working in conjunction with other departments to ensure the overall on time performance of the operation. The Supervisor will work a shift pattern assisting Operations Managers in the running of the operation on a daily basis. Key Responsibilities: Supervise daily activities to ensure a safe and efficient operation and prescribed customer service levels are met. Implement and maintain effective planning and allocation of resources. Manage all operational staff on shift to deliver a service consistent with Contract SLA’S. Completion of delay reports and submission to relevant airlines ensuring full detailed information has been recorded. Note take alongside Operations Managers in investigation meetings where necessary. Responsible to Operations Managers for training and development of staff and areas requiring improvement. Assist Operations Managers in maintaining staff discipline and conformance and assist in carrying out disciplinary or formal assessments where directed. Liaise with Airline on Duty Staff and other regulatory bodies. To liaise with your fellow Supervisors daily and ensure that any outstanding issues are followed up and completed. Communicate with the Controllers regarding any potential problems which may be encountered within the operation. Ensure that staff are using systems appropriately to record correct data as per CAA requirements. Ensure staff undertake full equipment checks. Monitor the ramp team activities through visual inspections, quality assurance and compliance checks and record via internal systems ie Assessnet, One Drive. Investigate and report any incidents or occurrences ensuring immediate escalation to Operations Managers. Monitor staff/team sickness and absence and report to Operations Managers. Challenge and investigate poor performance. Ensure that all company uniform policy is adhered to and that all personal protection equipment is always worn. Conduct performance meetings in association with Operations Managers as directed. Ensure that all necessary updates and other information are passed on to colleagues. Ensure the Operations Manager is kept fully updated on all correspondence and daily activities. Take appropriate action if standards are not met, up to and including assisting Operations Managers in disciplinary procedures, Monitor all additional revenue opportunities. Coach staff where required. Support the resolution of customer complaints and passenger queries. Carry out any reasonable task requested. When required to cover holidays for key operational roles. Requirements Required Experience and Skills: Previous experience of primarily working in a similar role is desirable. Must have the right to work in the UK. Must pass a DBS check.
