About the Opportunity Nuclear Power Programmes are delivering client critical works to some of our major UK and European Projects. Our embedded teams are delivering support to Hinkley Point C (New build power station in the South West), Sizewell C (located in the South East), helping develop technologies in SMR (Small modular Reactor) capability and working towards building Poland's first Nuclear Power station. Working in both client facing and internal roles we are delivering major programme and project management capabilities throughout the project lifecycle. The Hinkley Point C Equipment Programme is responsible for delivering the bulk of the mechanical, electrical and process equipment that will form the working power station. The contracts may be for discrete components or complete systems and will be delivered in partnership with NNB's global supply chain. Contracts range from £250k to £150m. Input design is completed by the EDF Responsible Designer, with the detail design completed by the equipment supplier. We are currently recruiting for a Business Analyst for Information Management, and you'll be part of a cross-disciplinary team within Digital & IT, working closely with project managers, information architects, data scientists, data engineers and business insight specialists. You will be responsible for ensuring the customer engagement and support service within Information Management identifies and engages with business stakeholders to ensure their information requirements are identified, documented and articulated. As a Business Analyst for Information Management and you'll join one of our most exciting and ambitious projects. At Hinkley Point C (HPC) we are building the first nuclear power station to be constructed in the UK for over two decades, which at the operating stage will employ several hundred people and make a major contribution to the UK's move to reduce carbon emissions. Role Responsibilities: - Identifying and documenting HPC Project Business information requirements - Working closely with the Information Management Lead, Information Architect and Development Teams to provide consistent gathering/delivery of information requirements to resolve complex business challenges. - Acting as a bridge between business and digital organisation and guiding the Business through to the relevant Information Management services - Supporting the development of HPC Information Management tools, processes and procedures - Supporting the development of communication and guidance material to build knowledge and understanding of Information Management across HPC - Demonstrable experience in delivering digital projects i.e. information requirement development, data analysis and IT system specification within complex, fast-paced capital projects environment - Excellent engagement skills, including interviewing, facilitating workshops, mediating and presenting - Demonstrated ability to interface with business stakeholders from a variety of disciplines and levels, and communicate clearly to ensure that HPC understands the available Information Management Services and the best way of accessing them - Strong practical knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio - Experience in one or more of the Information Management disciplines of Information Architecture, Information Analysis, Master Data Management, Data Administration or Database System development would be a bonus. - Degree level or equivalent in a related subject or business relevant subject preferred Our Culture Our values stand on a foundation of safety, integrity, inclusion and diversity.
