Having recently gained excise bonded approval from HMRC on our 175,000 sq ft warehouse facility and won multiple national awards over the last six months, our total international fulfilment offering presents plenty of scope in 2025.
THE ROLE
Salary: competitive (based on experience)
Location: Hybrid with on-site work in Kingswinford, West Midlands
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- To develop and maintain effective business relationships with new and existing clients, offering excellent freight forwarding services.
- To generate and follow up sales leads, visiting potential and existing customers to obtain new business at reasonable profit.
- Research and identify new business opportunities including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services or new ways of reaching existing markets.
- Generate leads and call prospective customers.
- Support in tender processes activities.
REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a business development role.
-Minimum 2 days in the office.
- Knowledge and experience in freight forwarding is essential.
- Tenacity and drive to seek new business and meet or exceed targets.
- An excellent telephone manner for making initial contact and for ongoing communication with customers and business associates.
- Interpersonal and networking skills for building and developing relationships with clients.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence and negotiate.
