Background
Following a series of new business wins and upcoming maternity cover we have a vacancy for an Amazon Client Lead. This person will lead an advertising team and take responsibility for key strategic client accounts.
This person will come from a performance agency or client side organisation with experience managing a large team of advertising managers (5+) responsible for £3m + of advertising spend. They will work with/or in a multi brand and multi market organisations, thus understanding the complexities of trading cross borders and managing cultural borders. They will need to have at least 3 years amazon advertising experience and a 5-7yr background in bidable or programmatic media.
This individual will be able to work independently, be commercially aware and experienced in managing a P&L for their division. They will be able to interrogate advertising plans, set forecasts and determine advertising strategy without support. They need to have experience with AMC and have a proven track record of using the data room to improve efficiencies.
They need to know how to develop and nurture a team, building talent and motivating individuals to be the best e-commerce leaders in the UK - the purpose that Tambo lives by.
The role will be London based with regular attendance in the London office with occasional visits to Europe to visit clients.
Role & Responsibilities
* Strategic account lead on 3 x Tier 1 Tambo clients +£300k in annual fees
* Manage a team of 3 Senior Account Managers with responsibility of 10 advertising experts - as maternity cover
* Ensure that their advertising team are trained on and using the latest amazon advertising techniques
* Support the Senior Leadership Team on new pitches and strategic growth opportunities with existing clients
* Set strategic direction on key Tier 1 accounts and support ad team with setting their own account strategies
* Manage the relationship with third party ad providers (e.g. Skai) to ensure we are efficient and effective in our ad delivery
* Ensure that we achieve high satisfaction scores for clients and employees - survey 2 x per year
* Work with Amazon Advertising LCS team and our Amazon Relationship Manager to ensure we receive their support in developing our advertising product
* Contribute to our technology roadmap to ensure the advertising team has the insight at their fingertips to make better strategic decisions
* Be an ambassador at Tambo for industry events as a speaker or participant, as well as building our profile through social channels via industry commentary
