Job summary Therapeutic Radiographer Band 7 Team Lead (Fixed Term for 8 months- 37.5 hrs) Applications are invited from experienced radiographers to join our dynamic team here at Torbay Oncology Centre. You will be HCPC registered. This is a fixed term position to cover a career break. The person appointed will be required to work shift patterns to cover extended working days, machine service days in addition to bank holidays The department has two Elekta Versa HD matched linear accelerators, Pinnacle 3D planning system, and a dedicated wide bore CT for treatment planning with 4DCT. Participate in QA, Audit, complaints and service development initiatives as appropriate. Ensure the provision of a quality service which meets the needs of the individual patients and their carers attending the department. Be responsible for initiating a response to an emergency radiation incident within the service as required.
