Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist the team with daily kitchen preparations.
2. Prepare a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to recipes and standards.
3. Measure and mix ingredients, following proper baking techniques.
4. Operate and maintain kitchen equipment, such as ovens, mixers, and dough sheeters.
5. Monitor the baking process to ensure products are cooked to perfection.
6. Decorate pastries and desserts with icing, glazes, and toppings.
7. Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met at all times.
8. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to coordinate orders and ensure timely delivery of baked goods.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a culinary environment.
2. Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
3. Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently produce high-quality products.
4. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
5. Excellent time management skills to meet production deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
