Hours: Monday to Friday, 5 hours per day (flexible with hours but must be 5 days per week)
Salary: £20,000 plus annual bonus scheme
An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Sales Consultant to join our client's successful team in Buckingham.
About our client:
Established in 1978, our client is the oldest and most experienced specialist in plastic cased medium and low temperature pre-insulated pipe systems in the UK and Ireland.
About the role:
The Sales Consultant will develop a client base and contacts, producing high-quality leads to maximize opportunities in securing orders.
Duties of a Sales Consultant:
* Warm lead telephone calls from an extensive database to promote products and services (50% of workload)
* Carry out sales quotation follow-up telephone calls (50% of workload)
* Use of Glenigan's software to generate and enhance sales leads
* Meeting targets on telephone calls and sales orders
* Upselling
* Organize sales meetings and site visits for Directors
* Receive and action incoming sales calls
* Input, update and edit enquiry/customer/supplier records on bespoke computer software
* Issue sales brochures and technical literature
What we would like from you:
The candidate should be a team player with the drive and enthusiasm to work independently to achieve their targets. Previous experience of working on the telephone to achieve sales targets is essential, as well as being well-organized with good administrative skills and punctuality.
