As a Finance Officer, you will be an essential part of our finance team, supporting the Repairs Accountant. Your key responsibilities will include preparing Group repairs information for the Monthly Management Accounts, coding intercompany postings, producing external customer invoices, maintaining Sales Day Books and the Fixed Asset schedule, and preparing monthly accruals and prepayments. Additionally, you will manage contract schedules for internal works and assist with various ad-hoc queries or projects.
We are seeking someone who embodies our core values: putting customers first, being open, honest, and accountable, valuing each other, and striving to be the best. The ideal candidate will be a qualified AAT or equivalent, with experience in an accounting role. You should demonstrate attention to detail, accuracy, strong analytical and numerical skills, effective communication with non-financial staff, and good IT skills. Experience with SUN systems, a commitment to the Social Housing and Not for Profit sector, and housing sector finance experience are desirable.
