An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Planner to join a leading name in Fit Out Contracting to work on various Interior schemes in and around Central London and the South East. About the Role
The role of Project Planner involves:
1. Planning and programming input into prequalifications and bids, which will include developing the construction methodology.
2. Preparing tender programmes, method statements, phasing drawings, and other supporting information.
3. Liaising with bid managers, estimators, designers, temporary works department, and specialist subcontractors as necessary.
4. Preparing presentation material using PowerPoint, Sketch-Up, Paint, or similar, and presenting our construction proposals at interviews.
Requirements
To be considered for the Project Planner position, you should have:
1. A keen interest in and a good knowledge of building, civil engineering, or general construction techniques and methodology.
2. A suitable level of safety training and to hold an appropriate CSCS card.
3. The ability to absorb and assimilate project information quickly and demonstrate clarity of thought in developing and presenting solutions.
4. The ability to work independently and manage your own workload while also being able to work effectively as part of a team.
5. An understanding of the design and procurement process and an awareness of contractual matters.
6. The capability of preparing programmes using one or more of the project management software packages in use in the company, e.g., Power-project, Microsoft Project, Asta.
