Warehouse Shift Manager This role plays a critical role in overseeing and managing all aspects of warehouse operations during shift and in absence of warehouse manager. Key Responsibilities Supervise and lead a team of warehouse staff, including team leaders, pickers, packers, and forklift operators. Ensure efficient workflow, inventory management, and order fulfilment processes are adhered to. Coordinate the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods to ensure timely delivery to customers or other destinations. Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction by driving improvements in pick accuracy and damage reduction. Work collaboratively with other departments and business units to deliver excellent service to our customers. Ensure product quality and integrity are maintained during storage and handling. Implement quality control measures and inspection processes as necessary. Enforce safety protocols and compliance with health and safety regulations to create a safe working environment. Utilise warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technology tools to track inventory, manage orders. Ensure warehouse KPIs are communicated clearly to all levels Adapt and relay the shift plan throughout the shift as required Ensure Training needs are identified, and robust training is delivered or arranged Must have Previous experience in warehouse manager/supervisor role Previous experience of managing and developing a team Hands-on commitment to getting the job done Excellent communication, with the ability to engage Team Leaders and Operatives Ability to convey messages and expectations re. expected KPIs and behaviours Details 10.00am - 6.00pm Monday - Friday. 37.5 hour contract. Must be flexible to work 1 in 5 weekends (either Saturday or Sunday) Salary is £32,000 per annum Annual holiday entitlement - Pro-Rated (Full year allowance 25 Days Holiday Bank Holidays 1 day additional per year of employment up to 28 days) Free Parking for your own vehicle at our HQ site in Salford
