ROLE
This is a joint role between UNLTD Church and the Parish of Central Exeter. The Resources Coordinator role will be on the staff team of UNLTD Church, but the funding is provided by the Parish of Central Exeter. The time is allocated as 2 days for UNLTD and 1 day for the Parish of Central Exeter.

* Grants & Office Administration - UNLTD Church
Purpose: To effectively make applications to grants and trusts to fundraise for the church and to help manage the smooth administration of UNLTD Church. This role is essential to build the funds of UNLTD so we can increase our staff team and ensure we are financially able to deliver on the mission of the church.
Tasks include:
* Researching available grant bodies and writing effective grant applications.
* Being the first point of contact for general enquiries.
* Managing and increasing external venue bookings.
* Maintaining and updating records and policies for safeguarding, health and safety, fire safety and data protection.
* Carrying out general administrative duties required by Unlimited Church including: Communicating and promoting the work of Unlimited Church Occasionally assisting the Leader or others with written & verbal communication with those both internal and external to the church.
Buildings Officer - Parish of Central Exeter
Purpose: To support the Rector and churchwardens for the churches of the Parish of Central Exeter (St Stephen’s, St Pancras’, St Petrock’s, St Olave’s and St Mary Arches). To support the Parish ensuring that all churches are in a good state of repair and arrange remedial works where necessary.
Tasks include:
* To receive reports from others & carry out inspections about problems affecting the buildings or furnishings of our churches and to take appropriate action.
* To make and maintain good relationships with the appointed architects, contractors etc who have been tasked with maintaining the fabric and furnishings of the churches.
* To manage health and safety within the parish churches and maintain appropriate records of work undertaken, and legally required inspections and checks eg fire extinguishers, electrical appliances.
* To agree invoices are correct and pass to relevant treasurer for payment.

* Passionate follower of Jesus.
* Have exceptional communication skills and maintain good relationships with those both internal and external to UNLTD and the parish churches.
* Able to think creatively and problem solve in varied situations
* Ability to work independently as well as being a team player
* Possess an eye for detail and ability to multi-task Be a natural organiser, administrator & problem-solver, methodical and able to work to tight timescales
* Create and keep accurate records, including basic financial records
* Proficiency in IT – able to quickly pick up new IT systems
* Be willing to undertake any training that may be required
Important: It is a Genuine Occupational Requirement (GOR) of the post that the post holder will be a Christian with full commitment to the vision, aims, and ethos of Unlimited Church's purpose and mission. It is also an occupational requirement that you become a committed, worshipping member of UNLTD Church.
