Job Overview
We are seeking an ambitious sales achiever to join a leading manufacturer in CSST, contributing to shaping future gas installations. The primary responsibility is to develop and manage all sales activities to grow the company's sales, focusing on key strategic countries to maximize margins and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
* Forge relationships with M & E Contractors and Consultants to promote our brand, gain specifications, and drive sales through our stocking merchants.
* Collaborate closely with supporting merchants to grow the business and provide support and training to Merchants and Gas Installers within your area.
* Conduct 70% Contractor/Consultant calls and 30% Merchant calls.
* Generate a monthly pipeline report detailing ongoing projects and their stages of progression.
Qualifications
* Field Sales experience in HVAC sector.
* Basic knowledge of heating systems.
* Experience selling to M & E Contractors, M & E Consultants, and Plumbing Merchants.
* Understanding of back selling and driving product requirements through specifications.
* Proven record of business development and sales growth.
* Technical competence to discuss engineered solutions with customer engineers.
* High business acumen, preferably with a technical qualification or at least five years’ experience in a similar technical sales role.
* Successful marketing management with tangible outcomes.
* Excellent communication, influence, and negotiation skills.
* Self-motivated, confident, and driven to succeed, capable of remote working and self-management.
* Effective communication with senior executives.
* Ability to build strategic relationships and network productively across organizations.
* Task-oriented with a passion for completing tasks efficiently.
* Innovative mindset to seek new approaches and generate ideas for business advantage.
* Honest, with a high level of integrity.
* Leadership qualities and good social skills.
* Proficiency in English (written and oral).
* Computer literate.
Additional Responsibilities
* Identify and develop customer opportunities, maintaining relationships.
* Develop and manage an annual sales budget for the region.
* Market company solutions actively within the region.
* Support marketing activities such as sales events and shows.
* Use market intelligence to identify potential opportunities.
* Focus on acquiring new accounts and sales opportunities.
* Maintain regular communication with customers to ensure excellent service.
* Negotiate contracts, including terms and conditions.
* Monitor pricing, margins, turnover, and market share with internal teams.
* Develop and maintain a project portfolio and progress reports monthly.
* Monitor customer satisfaction and support service improvements.
* Respond promptly to customer inquiries.
* Coordinate with internal departments regarding customer concerns and opportunities.
* Complete monthly sales forecasts and activity reports.
* Participate in team meetings and technical committees as required.
* Encourage EPCs and end users to specify company products.
