Role Description

NI Water provides water and wastewater services for all of Northern Ireland. As a member of the Procurement Team you can make a real difference to your community by supporting these vital services.
From vans to laboratory supplies and IT systems to renewable energy the variety of contracts needed are diverse and interesting. Procurement is all about buying the goods and services NI Water needs and is a varied, challenging and rewarding profession and a much sought-after skill across the world.
If procurement is new to you NI Water will provide excellent training and financial support to achieve widely recognised professional qualifications with the prestigious Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS). Motivation and a willingness to learn is all you need to get started.

Applicants MUST be able to demonstrate in their application and where necessary at interview:
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
1. A minimum of 5 GCSEs to include Maths and English at grade C or higher.
2. A minimum of 3 A levels or equivalent at grade C or higher.
3. A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in an office or customer facing environment
OR
A third level qualification (e.g., HNC, HND, Degree or equivalent) with at least 1 years’ experience working in an office or customer facing environment.
4. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. MS Excel experience should include the ability to analyse and manipulate data for presentation in a professional manner.
5. Have full CIPS membership (MCIPS) or willing to study to obtain CIPS professional qualification with full support of NI Water.

Salary
This role offers a competitive remuneration package with a salary scale of £28,441 to £34,761 per annum.
The starting salary will normally be at the first point of the scale.
