You will be a passionate teacher to engage students in English; not just to pass an exam, but to be able to express their emotions in a therapeutic and positive way.
The school, based in Salisbury, works with Primary and Secondary students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties. It boasts an extremely supportive and nurturing environment alongside brand new facilities to help students reach their full potential.
The school’s students often require support to build trusting relationships with professionals and you will have high expectations and a belief that they can succeed. You will be someone who can think outside the box with creative lessons for our onsite and offsite students, as well as bring a unique element to the team.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will be:
1. Ensuring that the teaching area is organised appropriately to provide a safe, tidy, pleasant and stimulating environment.
2. Planning and delivering an appropriate curriculum based on individual needs having due regard to pupil entitlement.
3. Teaching a range of subjects at different levels across the key stages.
4. Developing and maintaining positive relationships with families/carers.

13. Hours – 8:30 am – 4pm, plus parents evenings
Experience, Training and Qualifications
14. QTS or equivalent
15. Minimum 1 year English teaching experience in the UK
16. Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
Eligibility
17. Hold Right to Work in the UK
18. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
19. Provide two professional child related references
