The successful New Product Introduction Engineer involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless transition of products from development to production, maintaining the highest standards of quality and reliability.
Responsibilities:
1. Product Development: Collaborate with R&D, Product Management and manufacturing teams to develop and introduce new gas sensors and safety instruments.
2. Project Management: Lead NPI projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
3. Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance product quality and manufacturing efficiency, including PFMEA's.
4. Testing and Validation: Oversee the testing and validation of new products to ensure they meet all regulatory and performance standards.
5. Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed documentation for all stages of product development and introduction.
Qualifications:
1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Electronics, Mechanical, or a related field.
2. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in NPI, preferably within the gas sensor or safety instrument industry.
3. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of gas sensor technologies and safety instruments. Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.
4. Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with strong organizational and time management skills.
5. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
