This is a brilliant opportunity to join our expanding community of talented, committed and inspirational colleagues.
Working in a dynamic, values-led organisation, this role is for those who are passionate about development and innovation, within a lively college community.
We offer a range of benefits, including health and wellbeing support, flexible working, discounts on travel, parking, and gym memberships through our exciting Benefits Platform, Green Car Scheme, Medicash, personal development opportunities, and attractive pension schemes.
We are looking for a pro-active and ‘people centred’ person with an enthusiastic and empathetic approach to tackling inactivity. The project lead will plan and deliver activities which focus on small, but lifelong lifestyle changes for our students.
There is a well-established link between physical activity and mental wellbeing which equips people to cope in their future careers. In addition to designing and planning activities, the successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring the effects on individuals along with improvements as a result of these lifestyle changes.
We would like to hear from candidates who are committed to working in the education sector, have a passion for motivating people, and are keen to help students become more active in their everyday lives.
Candidates will have previous experience in either sport, exercise, or project management and hold relevant qualifications related to either field. You will need to be highly organised and be prepared to lead a project extending across College sites, working effectively with a range of College students and staff.
You will work on the planning of the project, implement the activities within budget, and be responsible for reporting outcomes to the management team. You will be very good at working with a range of people and be adept at developing strong working relationships with internal colleagues and external partners.
If you have the skills and experience we require and you are looking for an exciting new challenge, please apply.
The College reserves the right to interview for this post should we receive suitable candidates prior to the closing date.
The College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Employees will, in accordance with statutory guidance, be subject to a comprehensive checking process including references from current and previous employers, health, right to work in the UK, an enhanced DBS check, and a further check against the appropriate barred list.
