Phoenix Health PCN is seeking an enthusiastic, forward-thinking, business-driven Network Manager.
Our PCN is made up of 3 GP Practices: Unity Health, Cross Keys, and Haddenham Medical Centre, providing services for approximately 47,000 patients.
We are looking for an individual with strong leadership skills to develop and manage the future strategic direction of our Primary Care Network. In this role, the candidate will also manage aspects of the PCN such as finance, HR, recruitment, and digital transformation, with the responsibility of data collection, analysis, and collation of feedback for reporting, alongside strong knowledge and skills in project management and business development.
The successful candidate will join a growing network of care coordinators, social prescribers, health and wellbeing coaches, clinical pharmacists, and pharmacy technicians, becoming a key integral leader in driving the network forward as an experienced proven manager.
The management team includes a PCN Operations Manager, who supports the PCN manager and all PCN staff, attends meetings representing the PCN management team, and supports the digital and transformation agenda.
Job Summary:
1. Provide comprehensive, innovative, and professional management support to the PCN Clinical Director and Board to ensure that the PCN operates effectively as a business and develops strategically to meet the long-term objectives of primary care networks.
2. Understand the PCN Network DES and develop/implement services to meet its requirements.
3. Develop and maintain a business plan for the PCN.
4. Manage any existing contracts and services.
5. Ensure the network manages within the agreed budget.
6. Ensure delivery of cost-effective services within agreed budgets.
7. Ensure fair distribution of resources across the PCN practices.
8. Ensure best practice is followed in maintaining both professional and clinical standards.
9. Work in close partnership with clinical leaders to deliver quality service, performance targets, and KPIs.
10. Ensure effective governance is in place to ensure quality, safety, and manage risk.
11. The objective of the Digital and Transformation Lead is to provide a central source of leadership and management to aid service transformation for our population. The remit of this role is broad and will require attention to detail in delivering high-quality day-to-day operations.
Essential Experience:
1. 3+ years management experience.
2. Experience of working within the Health Care Sector at management level.
3. Proficient IT, strategic planning, and budget management skills.
4. Strong knowledge of HR.
