Procurement Analyst
Location: Merseyside
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
Are you a results-driven procurement professional with a passion for optimising supplier relationships and ensuring efficient procurement processes? We are looking for a Procurement Analyst to join our dynamic team at a leading company in the food industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Reporting & Analysis: Provide key procurement reporting and ensure data integrity.
* Contract Management: Administering contracts via SRM/SAP, managing signatures, and training users.
* Supplier Management: Building strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring optimal performance, and negotiating commercial terms.
* Sourcing & Benchmarking: Managing sourcing processes for specialty products and benchmarking suppliers on cost and service.
* Data & Forecasting: Ensuring accurate data input, updating price forecasts, and managing raw material supply.
* Collaboration: Working with internal stakeholders (e.g., IT, product managers) and external suppliers to deliver cost-effective and innovative solutions.
What We Need From You:
* Education: Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain Management, CIPS, or a related field.
* Experience: At least 2 years in procurement operations, with a good understanding of strategic procurement processes and supply chain management.
Skills:
* Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities.
* Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
* Proficiency in SAP and experience with contract management.
* Strong communication and collaborative mindset to work with both internal and external stakeholders.
