Based in Greater Manchester with hybrid working. Well-established, Regional Law Firm. Requires not less than 3 years’ experience.
New opening to join one of the region’s full-service law firms, which is committed to the continued growth of private client services.
A sizeable, private client team already exists but it is incredibly busy, and at the same time, there is a strategic requirement for someone to continue the development of private client services out of a new location.
The role will suit an ambitious private client solicitor, who already has solid technical experience, but now looking to develop their client and business management skills. STEP qualification is desired, but not essential and if you are not already STEP qualified, the firm would support you in achieving this when it is appropriate for you. Career experience and personal attributes are more important.
Reflecting the firm’s client base and local demographics, you will be managing a diverse caseload from simple wills and straightforward probates to more complex estate planning, tax consideration and IHT avoidance.
The firm has a collaborative culture and you will enjoy working closely with colleagues in matrimonial, property and corporate & commercial on cross-referrals and joint projects. The team has developed excellent relationships with IFAs and accountants but plenty more scope for the appointed person to explore.
Salary will be based on PQE/experience. There are also enhanced benefits and the firm rewards personal performance, contribution and achievement.
