What is the Solicitor Apprenticeship? This fully funded programme, in partnership with The University of Law (ULaw), offers an alternative to the traditional university route, allowing you to: ✔ Gain hands-on legal experience while earning a salary. ✔ Achieve an LLB (Hons) Law Degree and complete SQE1 and SQE2 exams. ✔ Train in a professional law firm while completing your Period of Recognised Training. ✔ Qualify as a solicitor (subject to a character and suitability assessment) without incurring university tuition fees. How Does It Work? You will work five days a week, with a mix of remote and office-based work. One day per week will be dedicated to university study. You will rotate through different legal departments, gaining valuable experience in clinical negligence, personal injury, private client, and legal costs. What Experience Will You Gain? Clinical Negligence – Handling claims involving medical mistakes, from cosmetic and dental issues to catastrophic injuries, including birth injuries and delayed cancer diagnoses. Personal Injury – Specialising in serious injury cases from road accidents, workplace incidents, and public liability claims, including fatal accident cases. Private Client – Managing deputyships and trusteeships, ensuring compensation for our clients is protected and managed for their lifetime. Legal Costs – Gaining valuable skills in cost recovery, drafting, negotiation, advocacy, and commercial awareness. Who Can Apply?
