As an IT Risk and Assurance Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting our mission by ensuring that our information technology systems are secure, resilient, and compliant with regulatory standards. This role is vital in helping us manage risks related to information security, technology failures, data protection, and business continuity, ensuring that we operate within our risk appetite and continue to provide exceptional service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Collaborate with Information Systems (IS) and business teams to foster a high-achieving, well-controlled organisation.
2. Promote and support the application of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) to identify, assess, manage, monitor, and report all material risks.
3. Provide second-line oversight and challenge within the context of reviews and other engagements.
4. Deliver assurance activities for technology failure, information governance, cyber, data protection, privacy, and business continuity risks.
5. Develop and refine regular risk reporting to support effective decision-making by senior executives and risk committees.
6. Offer risk management advice and guidance to relevant business areas.
7. Liaise with other IT risk professionals across Bupa to develop best practices for IT risk management.
8. Provide risk opinions and proportionate, risk-based reports to the Regulated Entity Board Committees and Executive members.
What We’re Looking For
9. Experience with IT strategy, project delivery, and technology architectures.
10. Exposure to IT risk management and associated governance frameworks.
11. Effective communication and report writing skills with the ability to influence and motivate others.
12. Experience in a financial services regulatory environment.
13. Ability to apply good judgement based on business information and assessment frameworks.
