Swanwood Partnership has an opportunity for an enthusiastic and proactive receptionist to join our team on a part- time basis for 18 hours per week. Days can be confirmed. We are currently implementing a new Total Triage service which means that patients can submit medical and administrative queries online. The receptionist plays a pivotal role in the experience of patients at our practice, helping them to access the right services and dealing with their queries face-to-face, online and by telephone. The main responsibilities of the role include: Ensuring the telephone is answered as promptly as possible, booking appointments and diverting calls to the correct person. Taking calls from patients, navigating them towards total triage, this may require form filling on patients behalf. Ensuring that the reception and waiting areas are kept neat and tidy. Whilst this is a new role which has minimal responsibilities, you will be the patients first contact and the full understanding of the system is paramount to promote and enable patient confidence in Total Triage. Once this has been fully implemented, there will be room for progression into our reception/administrative areas for the right applicant. Due to the volume of applicants we receive, unfortunately it can be difficult to contact all who apply. If you have been shortlisted, we will be in touch to arrange an interview.
