Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about keeping transport operations running smoothly? We are looking for a Fleet Manager to join our dynamic team!
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the scheduling and maintenance of our fleet of Vans, HGVs, and Trailers to ensure they meet safety standards and remain operational at all times.
• Maintain and update detailed service schedules for all vehicles, ensuring timely servicing and compliance with regulations.
• Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all vehicle maintenance, repairs, and inspections in spreadsheets and databases.
• In the event of vehicle breakdown organise recovery service and replacement vehicles.
• Maintain records for road tax and MOT schedules ensuring vehicles and trailers are compliant for road use.
• Control and approve repair costs, authorising vehicle warranty and maintenance repairs within financial control limits.
• Provide regular reports to senior management on fleet status, maintenance schedules, and operational performance.
• Assist with the procurement of parts and supplies needed for vehicle maintenance.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and coordinate immediate repairs when necessary.
Key Requirements:
• Fleet/Transport Manager International CPC- you will be the one of the named CPC Managers for the site
• Proven experience in a transport, logistics, or fleet management role.
• Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with drivers, suppliers, and service providers.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for tracking vehicle information.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to fleet operations.
