We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated KS2 Teacher to join a friendly and supportive team at various schools around Cambridgeshire. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) to make a significant impact on pupils’ learning and development in Key Stage 2.
As a KS2 Teacher, you will create an engaging and inclusive learning environment where pupils are challenged, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential. You will play a vital role in preparing students for their transition to secondary school, developing their literacy, numeracy, and problem-solving skills, and fostering their love for learning. This role begins March 2025.
Duties of a KS2 Teacher:
* Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in line with the KS2 National Curriculum.
* Support pupils in developing their independent learning skills and confidence.
* Assess, track, and report on pupil progress to ensure continued development.
* Differentiate lessons to support the needs of all learners, including SEND and EAL pupils.
* Promote a positive classroom environment with strong behaviour management strategies.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and support staff.
* Engage with parents and carers to build strong home-school partnerships.
* Take part in staff meetings, CPD opportunities, and school initiatives.
Ideal KS2 Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (desirable but not essential for ECTs).
* A passion for engaging and inspiring young learners.
* Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills as a KS2 Teacher.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
