Job Overview
We are seeking a CNC Operator to join our client based in Havant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machinery to produce precision parts and components.
Duties
Operate CNC milling machines and lathes to fabricate parts according to specifications.
Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Set up tooling and fixtures for machining processes, ensuring precision in production.
Conduct regular inspections of finished products to verify adherence to quality standards.
Use hand tools and welding equipment as necessary for assembly and fabrication tasks.
Maintain an organised and clean workspace in compliance with safety protocols.
Collaborate with team members in the warehouse to ensure efficient workflow and timely production schedules.Experience
Basic experience as a CNC Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in CNC machinery is advantageous.
Proficient in using hand tools, welding equipment, and other fabrication tools.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication skills.
A background in machining or engineering is beneficial but not essential.Hours
37.5 hrs per week. Monday - Friday 8.00am - 4.15pm
