Role: Enterprise Applications & Portfolio Team Leader
Location: Lewes, East Sussex
Contract: 6 months with possible extension
Pay Rate: £67.57 per hour
We are looking for an experienced ORACLE IAM specialist, to work as part of the project team for implementation of Oracle go live. You must have knowledge and experience in relation to:
* Building roles and privileges
* Auto-provisioning of roles to position, (with a good understanding of Org Management)
* Oracle Licence management
* Audit of Oracle access
* The Team Leader role is responsible for developing, supporting, determining, negotiating and agreeing on in-house quality procedures, standards, specifications and lifecycle management for the applications supported by the EAP team which could include, for example one or a combination of: SAP, Social Care, Education & Highways and other Business areas with critical core applications
* Responsible for assessing the customers’ requirements and ensuring that these are met as well as providing advice and consultancy at an operational level to services, management and users
* Ensure supplier management is performed in an effective and proactive way
* Ensuring the team is recognised as experts therefore contributing to the continuous improvement of applications across the IT & Digital Service, (which may include quality assurance and testing), thereby creating and maintaining a Centre of Excellence
* Able to make decisions regarding if, how and when work is undertaken
* Perform any other tasks commensurate with the grade of the post as required by the manager/supervisor, which will include deputising for the respective manager of the team they are working in.
What the Enterprise Applications & Portfolio Team Leader should have:
* ITIL v3 certificate in Foundation Level
* Good knowledge and understanding of Information Security Management Principles
* Good knowledge of legislation, principles, practices and procedures
* Considerable experience working in a similar relevant role
* Proven ability to deliver technical programmes of work delivering agreed outcomes and objectives within the allocated timeframes
* Proven skills in high level negotiation and influencing including the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external partners & suppliers
* Ability to assess risks and benefits in a complex environment
* Good knowledge and understanding of ITIL framework (including Application Lifecycle)
* Good knowledge and understanding of Project Management Framework
* Good knowledge and understanding of databases: Oracle 11g, DB2 and/or SQL 2008 Server (may be required depending on the area of work your team is responsible for).
