Our client, a leading automotive manufacturing company that specializes in producing high performance vehicles, is currently looking for a Manufacturing Process Engineer. The successful candidate will mainly focus on fixture design & implementing changes of procedures.
The Manufacturing Process Engineer will:
1. Design and develop equipment, jigs, fixtures, rigs, and custom automation solutions.
2. Implement change and refine processes to facilitate production scale-up.
3. Partner with stakeholders, from lead engineers to technicians, to ensure successful product delivery.
4. Specify, source, and commission equipment required for manufacturing and assembly processes.
5. Industrialise and automate prototype assembly processes for seamless integration into production lines.
6. Design and develop manufacturing lines for prototype-to-pilot and pilot-to-production transitions.
7. Enhance key manufacturing stages to improve efficiency and output quality.
The Manufacturing Process Engineer will have:
1. Minimum 2 years of industrial experience and a degree in a relevant engineering field.
2. Proficiency in 3D CAD software and PLM systems, particularly Siemens NX and Teamcenter.
3. Thrives in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
4. Experience with batteries is desirable but not mandatory.
5. First aid and health and safety knowledge are advantageous.
