32.5 Hours per week | 39 Weeks per yearMaendy Primary are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and inspirational Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support the Teaching and Learning primarily within our Key Stage 2 setting.
Maendy Primary is at the heart of the Community. The school has an ALN Resource Base, a BESD provision and a full time Nursery. The successful candidate will be joining Maendy Primary at a very exciting time as we prepare to open our new school building in the Summer term. This new development will provide us with the opportunity to expand one-form to a two-form entry with our pupil numbers expected to increase accordingly.
Candidates will be expected to:
Work under the guidance of teaching staff and/or members of the school leadership team.
To support individuals and groups of pupils to enable access to learning.
To assist the teacher with the management of pupils in the classroom and beyond.
To cover/supervise the whole class when needed.
In return the school will offer opportunities for ongoing training, professional development, and the support of a welcoming and nurturing team.
As part of the appointments process the shortlisted candidates will be observed teaching a number skill to a group of children.
