Key Responsibilities:
1. Test Planning: Develop comprehensive test plans based on project requirements and specifications.
2. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure testing aligns with development milestones.
3. Test Execution: Create and execute test cases to verify functionality, performance, and security.
4. Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects, and work closely with developers to facilitate their resolution.
5. Software Understanding: Work closely with development teams to understand software architecture and facilitate effective testing.
6. Communication: Communicate test progress, results, and potential risks to project stakeholders.
7. Process Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
8. Industry Awareness: Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing.
Key Skills:
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.
* Proficiency in scripting and programming languages for test automation.
* Knowledge of different testing types, including functional, performance, and security testing.
* Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools.
