Church Langley Medical Practice has an opportunity for an operations supervisor based within our reception/admin team on a full-time basis for 37.5 hours per week. This is an office-based, 5 day per week role. In this essential front-line role at the practice, the operations supervisor will oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring the reception team helps patients access the right services, assists with keeping health records accurate, and ensures that appointment bookings are well-managed.
Within this role, they will work within the existing team to promote the core values of the practice.
Main duties of the job
* Managing reception and the reception team.
* HR set-up.
* Complaints primary contact.
* Identifying and delivering training.
* Compiling reception staff rotas.
* Supporting the management team by compiling reports.
* Working with the GP Assistant to coordinate home visits.
* Scheduling and taking minutes for the PPG meetings.
* Leading/inspiring the reception team.

* Experience of working with the general public, being sensitive and empathic in distressing situations.

* Strong IT and administration skills.
* Some flexibility is required, as you will sometimes need to work additional or alternative hours to cover for colleagues.
* Previous medical or healthcare receptionist experience is desirable.
