Key Responsibilities for a Clinical Governance and Audit Lead:
Lead and develop the organisation’s clinical governance and audit frameworks
Oversee clinical audit programmes, reporting on performance and areas for improvement
Analyse clinical data to inform quality and safety initiatives
Train and support clinical staff in governance and audit processes
Ensure compliance with CQC, NICE, and national standards
What We’re Looking For:
You must be a registered nurse (NMC registered)
Master’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a governance, audit, or quality role at Band 7 or above
Strong leadership and communication skills
Proven experience managing clinical risk and improvement programmes
