We are currently recruiting for a highly motivated Warehouse Operative to join our team in Milton Keynes (Tilbrook) MK7 8BN. The position holder will support and assist the Shift Manager/team leader by helping run a warehouse department whilst ensuring company and customer quality standards are achieved.
The role will offer a salary of £30,256.51 and a warehouse supplement of £1,400 per annum.

Main duties and responsibilities will include:
1. As directed, safely handle products through all inbound and outbound processes, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
2. Stepping up for the Team leader when needed in accordance with Yusen policies.
3. Ensure all goods are handled in the correct manner to minimize damage and follow manual handling techniques to prevent injury and harm.
4. Carry out any other reasonable requests to support the effective running of the warehouse.
5. As directed and in accordance with training, appropriately use Manual Handling equipment to support the operational processes when required.
6. Ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to, including PPE, escalating any concerns to your line manager at the earliest opportunity.
7. Ensure all equipment checks are carried out according to procedure, raising any defects to your line manager.
8. Ensure all company procedures are adhered to, including absence, performance, standards of behaviour, taking due consideration of company values.
9. Complete daily, weekly and monthly reports accurately as required.
10. Ensure any concerns, issues or variances to instructions are immediately communicated to your line manager to allow appropriate action to be taken at the earliest opportunity.
Key Skills:
1. Literate and numerate
2. Previous warehouse experience is an advantage.
3. MHE-experience is an advantage.
4. Awareness of manual handling techniques is an advantage.
5. Ability to work as part of a team.
6. Self-motivated and Flexible
7. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
