We are looking for a confident and motivated Administrator to join our Head Office Buying Administration team. This is an ideal role for a positive and enthusiastic team player who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and will relish working under pressure.
You will be working on our Contracts Administration team, liaising with Buyers and Suppliers to obtain supplier & product data and get prices confirmed. Your role is pivotal in making sure that we can take an item from the negotiations to the point where they’re ready to hit the stores!

What you'll do
1. Write contracts for Food Own Label, Branded, Fresh Produce & Non-Food items for GB and/or any other Lidl country in a timely manner within the agreed deadlines
2. Checking, sending out and receiving price confirmation sheets within the agreed business deadlines
3. Sending out, receiving, and checking supplier and product data requests via our Supplier Portal within the agreed business deadlines as well as other relevant documents like certificates (e.g. BRC, organic)
4. Urgently communicating item and/or price changes within our own department as well as to other Lidl countries
5. Maintaining a variety of Lidl purchasing systems (EKK, EKS, DMS, LNP, FAP, etc.) to a high standard of quality
6. Making sure that all data quality queries like internal audit findings are looked into and closed out as soon as possible
7. Keeping business critical deadlines ensuring that other departments can also meet their deadlines while keeping all parties informed
8. Working with shared inboxes and allocating emails
9. Supporting our suppliers and stakeholders with department relevant requests
10. Supporting our suppliers in using our systems, navigating our resources available to them
11. Assisting with project work and making suggestions for process improvements
What you'll need
12. Previous administration experience within an office environment
13. Motivated, able to work well in a team and independently in a high-pressure environment
14. Organised with the ability to multitask and work to targets and strict deadlines
15. Excellent time management skills
16. A high degree of adaptability
17. A confident approach with excellent communication skills
18. The ability and confidence to communicate effectively with colleagues across all levels of the business
19. Excellent attention to detail
20. Pro-active, approaching problems logically and calmly
21. Fully proficient in Microsoft Office
22. Positive can-do attitude with the willingness to learn
23. German speakers preferred, but not essential
