As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving innovation and excellence in mechanical design solutions across a range of projects, including commercial, education, and residential developments. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the mechanical design aspects of projects from concept through to completion. Conduct detailed mechanical design calculations and simulations. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure integrated design solutions. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers. Act as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Proven experience in mechanical design within the building services sector. Chartered Engineer status or working towards it. Proficiency in relevant design software and tools. Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and internal teams. Client-Facing Skills: The successful candidate will be actively involved in client-facing activities, representing the company in a professional manner. This includes understanding client requirements, presenting design proposals, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
