The Engineering Lead will manage the engineers on an hour-to-hour basis on the day shift, with some flexibility required to manage changeovers and exceptional maintenance activity. The Engineering Lead organises the team and acts as a trusted advisor to the engineers when they need support or guidance. Key objectives in your role as Engineering Lead include: Overall responsibility for sitewide asset reliability. Ensuring fix first time and ensuring the quality standards of all PM and remedial activity. Controlling and escalating the Tier 1 board system, ensuring the team are raising CMMS notifications to record work requirements. Identifying and planning maintenance jobs around the site Utilising the aid of CMMS, tier boards and the action tracker. Identifying parts needed for maintenance or other corrective jobs on site. Gathering quotes and supervising required material to assist maintenance activities. Leading daily meetings with team to discuss and prioritise any outstanding or future activity. Ensuring workshop facilities are controlled and aimed at world class organisation standards. Ensuring the team use CMMS appropriately. Allocating specific duties to the team using CMMS to manage activities. Assisting with internal and external auditing processes. Producing a metrics pack from CMMS that allows the relevant audience to understand how the department is performing. Identifying and planning maintenance jobs around the site. Preparing work packages for every planned maintenance activity inclusive of repetitive maintenance. Continuously improving the PM content. Compliance: Adhere to the Company's compliance obligations, policies, processes, and procedures. Report compliance concerns, issues, and failures. Participate in training as required. Essential Candidate Requirements: Formal level 3 qualification in a relevant engineering subject. 5 years experience of multi-skilled engineering activity. Experience of managing shift-based engineers. Experience of CMMS at an advanced level. Desirable Skills: Structured, self-motivated and passionate about quality & safety. Result oriented individual who is comfortable dealing with cross-functional teams. Strong communication skills and the ability to work with internal and external authorities. Experience of managing RCA activities. Experience of dealing with regulatory bodies.
