• Undertake activities with a group or individual residents under the guidance of a
senior member of staff making use of available community resources external to
the home.
• Help in the promotion of social, physical and spiritual activity of residents in
accordance with the agreed activities programme.
• Be responsible for the design and implementation of the activities programme in
liaison with Key workers, family, advocates, friends, volunteers and other outside
agencies.
• To contribute to the development and reviewing of care plans.
• Keep appropriate records of activities and assessment forms to review the
development of residents involved in the activities programme.
• Support residents with accessing a range of IT options including social media,
skype etc..
• Continually update through reading and training of any new developments, which
would assist, the activities programme.
• Occasionally to assist care assistants in carrying out personal care duties
