We’re on the lookout for a Senior Investment Analyst to join our busy Investment Oversight Team. You will primarily be working in the Technical Investments Team and the role will encompass the management and administration of impaired investments held across the Nucleus group. Integral to this role is excellent organisation and prioritisation, attention to detail and "heroic reaction" skills. This means being a pro at managing both tasks that are assigned to you and new or existing projects all whilst also supporting the team in a variety of investment operations functions. Every day you’ll manage your workload, ensuring actions are dealt with within agreed timeframes, enabling our advisers to get the best outcome for their clients. You’ll spend most of your time: Managing actions relating to new or existing impaired Non-Standard investments Managing claims / recovery and Exits whilst preparing provisioning activities for Finance Managing Non-Standard investment remediation Managing Non-Standard investment control and negative value reports Managing internal and external queries, across multiple channels Administration of FSCS and redress activity Undertaking customer detriment assessments Undertaking financial crime asset reviews Providing decisions from referrals Collating data and supporting information to support the review and responses to complaints, DSAR's, FOS questionnaires and decisions Assessing the merits of Non-Standard investments and Investment Firm due diligence relating to customer complaints, claims or referrals from FOS or the Pension Ombudsman Receiving referrals and considering adjustments of existing or ongoing fees relating to both active and impaired Non-Standard investments Receiving and reviewing Workplace Pension Scheme data, produce investment reports, consider and take forward actions and notifications to customers Monitoring of Non-Standard investments, undertake calculations, initiate recovery and regulatory reporting where necessary Receiving, reviewing and interrogating monthly reporting packs and initiate actions Producing Management Information and board papers Checking peers work Updating procedures & controls Sharing your knowledge across the Technical Investment team and wider business Building and maintain third-party relationships, ensuring we get the best from our suppliers and our clients are at the heart of everything you do A bit about you Your friends would probably describe you as the "super-organised" one, ridiculously well planned and someone who can tackle multiple complex tasks during the working day. You’re the type of person who asks great questions to understand expectations but can react like lightening to solve problems as they occur.
