Position:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administration Assistant to SCN based at University Hospital Crosshouse, Ward 2 .
What you will do:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an administration / secretarial assistant to work closely with the Senior Charge Nurse within ward 2F – Renal High Dependency Unit at University Hospital Crosshouse.

You will be based within Ward 2F, and you will provide administrative support to the SCN. Duties will include general office work including absence management support, letter writing, filing, organising meetings, rostering input, annual leave management, audit input, development and management of databases, planning of staff training and other duties as indicated by the SCN.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
1. Knowledge in office IT software, including One Drive, Microsoft Office, i.e. Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
2. A qualification in Secretarial Studies/Administration or equivalent experience.
3. An excellent level of English and numeracy and experience working/assisting in an office environment.
4. Able to demonstrate co-ordinating, organisational and administrative skills and previous experience in Health care is desirable but not essential.
