Ontic, a leading licensor and manufacturer of complex engineering parts for the global aerospace and defence industries, is now recruiting for a Stores Team Lead to join our team in Staverton and provide a crucial role in supporting the success of the Stores function.

The role
You'll play a vital role leading a team of stores personnel ensuring picking and kitting of parts is maintained. You'll use our ERP system to manipulate and query information, planning and organizing the team's activities on a day-to-day basis to ensure work is completed on time and to the required standards. You'll work closely with Operations Cell Managers to maximize individual and team performance to ensure continuous improvement and to assist in providing the business with greater visibility of inventory stock levels and control of all inventory.
About you

You'll have worked in a team lead or supervisory role previously and will be able to motivate, develop, and lead others.
You'll be analytical and numerical and a confident user of IT, able to use spreadsheets and databases, and have knowledge of warehouse systems to support you in your role.
You'll understand the importance and impact of poor quality and be flexible when required to ensure business needs are met.
Ideally, you'll have strong knowledge and experience of ERP systems. Experience of working in the aviation industry and possession of a forklift license would be an advantage.
