Asbestos Site Analyst required in Sheffield/South Yorkshire to conduct sampling and fibre counting as per customer requirements, HSG248 and the relevant Method Statements. Analysts will adhere to the professional code of conduct when entering client's premises as described in MQF3053 and uphold the good reputation of the company at all times. Analysts will further check and inspect equipment used on the daily basis, prior to each job and report any problems to the Project.

Asbestos Site Analyst Essential Job Functions:
1. Adhere to the Quality Management System.
2. Work with the in-house method statements.
3. Carry out risk assessment processes.
4. Be familiar with own capabilities and company authorisation.
5. Maintain a good awareness of health & safety matters.
6. Monitor, adapt, and review methods for analytical sampling as per HSG248, In House Method Statement and MQP116 Asbestos Analytical Procedures.
7. Conduct all aspects of airborne asbestos sampling and fibre counting.
8. Conduct 4 Stage clearance procedures.
9. Authorise and issue air testing/4SC certification/reports.
10. Keep calibrations of equipment up to date.
11. Maintain allocated vehicle and equipment in operational order.
12. Notify the Quality/Technical Manager immediately should equipment become faulty, fail or fall outside of calibration range.
13. Report to seniors with any improvement ideas.
14. Attend regular staff meetings to discuss issues and improvements.
15. Ensure TTL meets all its legal and safety commitments.
16. Participate in external and in-house quality control programmes.
17. Lead by example.
18. Provide technical support as a competent person and advice on operational matters.
19. Participate in briefings, toolbox talks, and training as required.
20. Attend annual performance review meetings.
21. Assist in the training and auditing of other technical staff.
22. Complete company site specific records correctly in a legible fashion in preparation for data entry.
Asbestos Site Analyst Qualifications & Skills Required:
* Must hold P403 & P404 certificates, W504 module or RSPH Certificate for Asbestos Analysts (Air).
* Minimum of 6 months experience.
* Full driving licence - no more than 3 points.
