Risk and Compliance Analyst Belfast - Hybrid What you'll do Conducting ID&V and client screening checks for new and existing clients. Point of contact for coordinating the AML client onboarding process - working with clients and internal teams to resolve any issues. Conducting file reviews to ensure all required AML and Sanctions information is complete. Communicating with clients or fee earners to obtain the necessary information for CDD checks. Documenting AML and Sanctions research for review by internal and external stakeholders like regulators and auditors. Identifying and escalating clients who may pose a higher risk of money laundering or other financial crimes. Performing Ultimate Beneficial Ownership (UBO) assessments for complex ownership structures when needed. Reviewing client screening results and identifying true or false matches. Assisting with client and matter risk assessments for approval. What you'll need Degree level or relevant experience. Experience working in legal or financial services. Understanding of AML, Sanctions, and CDD requirements. Familiarity with Client Onboarding and KYC processes. Strong communication skills, able to work with various stakeholders. Awareness of risks related to Client Onboarding and Money Laundering. Knowledge of AML onboarding tools is a plus but not required.
