Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee financial management and record-keeping
2. Prepare and present financial reports to the Board
3. Manage budgets, forecasts, and cash flow
4. Ensure compliance with charity financial regulations
5. Support funding applications and liaise with auditors
Skills & Experience
Essential: Experience in financial management or accounting, familiarity with charity finance regulations, proficiency in accounting software like Xero and Excel, strong analytical skills, and commitment to transparency.
Desirable: Previous charity board experience, understanding of arts and culture sectors.
Personal Qualities
Passion for arts and community, proactive approach, teamwork skills, and dedication to supporting local culture.
Time Commitment
Approximately two days per month, with monthly board meetings and occasional external representation.
