Senior Power Electronics Engineer – Space TechnologyHampshire, UK We’re looking for a Senior Power Electronics Engineer– Space Technology to join a growing team working on next-generation battery powered space systems. What you’ll be doing as the Senior Power Electronics Engineer:You’ll play a key role in designing and integrating cutting-edge power systems for advanced space applications. Your day-to-day could include:
* Designing and testing power conversion systems for harsh and inhospitable environments
* Developing and testing battery management systems
* Solving tricky power system problems and making things work in the real world
* Collaborating with industry leading engineers and advisors to make your designs a reality.
Your background and experience
* A degree in electrical and electronics engineering (or something similar)
* Ideally 2+ years of hands-on experience with power systems
* An understanding of battery management and system architecture
* Someone who can write clear test plans, troubleshoot confidently, and manage their own workload
* Great communication skills — you’ll be working with people across teams and disciplines
If you have experience with modelling tools like MATLAB or Python that would also be beneficial. What you’ll get
