We are looking for a Healthcare Assistant up to 35 hours per week to work with our friendly and supportive team at Stonyhill Medical Practice.
NHS experience preferred but training will be given.
Main duties of the job
Working under the direct supervision of the Nurse lead and strictly in accordance with specific practice guidelines and protocols, the healthcare assistant will assist the practice clinical team in the provision and delivery of prescribed programmes of patient care.

Job responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. ECG recording
2. Processing and management of laboratory samples requested by GPs/Nurses
3. Vaccine/cold chain storage, monitoring and recording
4. Stock rotation
5. Clearing and re-stocking consulting rooms
6. Assisting in the assessment and surveillance of patients' health and well-being
7. Undertaking specific clinical activities for named patients that have been delegated and taught specifically in relation to that individual
8. Helping to raise awareness of health and well-being and how it can be promoted
9. Assisting with the collection and collation of data on needs related to health and well-being
10. Administer influenza vaccinations to adults under a PSD
11. Administer pneumococcal injections

Qualifications
