Job Title: Teacher of Design & Technology
Location: North East England, County Durham, Darlington
Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours
Primary Industry: Education and Training
Salary: £150 - £250 Per day depending on qualifications and experience
Job Duties:
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Design & Technology to students
* Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback
* Create a stimulating learning environment that encourages student participation
* Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and teaching methods
* Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance
* Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and training sessions
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Degree in Design & Technology or related field
* Experience teaching Design & Technology at secondary level
* Knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment requirements
Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
* Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Design & Technology or relevant subject
* Proven experience teaching Design & Technology in a secondary school setting
* Strong understanding of curriculum development and educational technology
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential
Preferred Qualifications:
* Postgraduate qualification in Education or relevant field
* Experience working with students with special educational needs
* Additional subject specialisms in related fields
Working Conditions:
* Temporary position with the possibility of extension

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
