AIR WORTHINESS ENGINEER - HAMPSHIRE Our client is an industry - leading provider of maintenance, repair and overhaul services for fixed - and rotary - wing aircraft operators around the globe, offering responsive, high quality and value - for - money support for engines, airframes and components.The Air Worthiness Engineer is responsible for the accurate and timely detailed planning of all Airworthiness and Maintenance tasks for both the internal and external managed fleet liaising with the Part 145 maintenance organisations to ensure a seamless service for the Client. The role will involve the interpretation of Airworthiness Directives, Manufacturers Publications and Maintenance Data to undertake the planning of Airworthiness tasks, planning of maintenance task requirements, identifying provisional maintenance dates with clients based on operational requirements, administration of airworthiness technical records and associated archives as per regulatory requirements and integration of planning requirements into Approved Maintenance Programmes.· Co - ordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance checks and record reviews when required, and being able to deliver airworthiness data to contracted MROs · Review in - service defects, monitor repetitive defects, co - ordinate defect rectification, and produce Reliability Reports · Management of aircraft records reviews, managing and archiving of all continuing airworthiness records · Review Airworthiness Directives for the aircraft under VAIL control and identify necessary maintenance actions for embodiment · Work with Part 145 sub - contract organisations to co - ordinate scheduled maintenance in accordance with the Approved Maintenance Programmes, ensuring that all operational departments and customers are informed regarding scheduled maintenance, unscheduled maintenance, AOG\\\'s, aircraft limitations and passenger convenience itemsYou will have completed an aircraft maintenance apprenticeship and have at least 3 years experience of carrying out aircraft maintenance in a civil aviation environment. A minimum of 4 years experience aircraft maintenance planning experience, Technical Records management or airworthiness management. Ideally worked in a similar role within a CAMO supporting complex helicopter types.You will need first hand experience in obtaining an EASA Part M approval
