The role: Responsible for the leadership and management of the department, covering all aspects of Production Control and Logistics, supplier coordination and material handling across operations Ensure customer satisfaction by meeting delivery requirements, optimising production planning and aligning operations with business strategies and objectives Support effective company spend, securing cost reductions and avoidances throughout the supply chain Manage Production Control and Logistics functions within Sage Achieve departmental targets as set by the Managing Director Please see attached the job description for responsibilities and duties Essential Criteria: Previous experience in supervising / managing within a production environment Minimum degree level qualification in Engineering, Business or Logistics or related field Candidates will also be considered if they have the relevant work experience Minimum 5 years within Production Control and Logistics environment Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Capable of working productively in a pressurized environment Able to lead and motivate teams and create a positive environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Analytical and problem solving skills Effective planning and organizing skills Results and customer focused Ability and confidence to make prompt, clear and tough decisions Adaptable and positive in response to change.
